Fingerprints & Faces was created by scanning my fingerprints into a computer to create a repeatable pattern. The design was made in Photoshop, printed on acetate, and through the silkscreen process it was turned into the installation piece. Within the fingerprints are hand drawn silhouettes of people I know. It is a piece that attempts to examine external relationships and the internal relationship with one’s self and how all personal interactions subconsciously form one’s identity.
